Dental Health Insurance
At our dental office, we’re happy to file your insurance claim on your behalf as a courtesy. We will take payment directly from your insurance. However, we are not responsible for determining the premium or out-of-pocket expenses your insurance will dictate. Please understand that YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY will be responsible for how your claim is handled and the benefits the company will pay toward your claim. You will be responsible for paying the out-of-pocket cost at the time of your treatment.
While we can assist you in estimating what these costs will be, it’s important to note that dental insurance companies may sometimes pay benefits that are lower than the actual costs of your treatment. Due to outdated data analysis and market predictions made by the insurance company, the company’s usual, or customary, reasonable fee (UCR) may be less than actual expenses within the dental health care field. To get a better understanding of the costs you may be expected to cover out-of-pocket, we advise speaking with your insurance company about your policy and benefits before scheduling your appointment with us.
